Three ‘F’s to consider before construction begins:

1. Floor Plan Design - Understand that the floor plan will ultimately determine the flow of your home from the direction of air and light to natural movement of the occupants. Thoughtful and creative design at this stage is critical as you incorporate each room into a harmonious whole.
2. Framing for the Future - Building an extra bed room or lounge area later might be an option, but remodeling always costs more than doing it right the first time. Plan ahead and consider the needs of your family and lifestyle while the adding-on is easy.
3. Furniture Matters - It's always best to consider right away how special furniture items may be accented and aesthetically incorporated into your new home. Such items would include family heirlooms, pianos, very long or large furniture, and/or built-in pieces like bookshelves or fixed seating.
